If you run a take out restaurant a mobile app will likely be used by a lot of your clients. In this case, an app will also let your employees spend less time collecting money and taking orders, a win-win.
- Will this application help make our employees more productive? If your employees spend a lot of time taking orders, looking up shipping information, looking up invoices, or doing anything that could be done through an application by the customer, then you could save a lot of employee hours with a mobile app. This also applies to companies where customers need to book appointments. A well set up mobile application can handle much of the load previously on a receptionist, and allow customers to book appointments at hours you aren't normally open.
- Do other companies in our field already have a mobile application? It's never fun to play catch up. If you have the only courier service where customers can't check their package status on the go, or the only car repair service where customers can't make appointments while on the Metro, you are at a disadvantage. People are busy and often unable to make phone calls or get to a computer.
