Hi my name is Chad and I am a software developer. Before becoming a developer, I was a staff sergeant serving in the Air Force as a combat trucker. I enjoy getting my hands on a real world issue and making it come to life with code. My expertise is in Python / Flask and Django, Ruby, micro computers, and blockchain technologies.
As a veteran, I place a lot of value in a well organized team. Efficient teamwork allows for expedited and bespoke solutions to complex issues. The projects I enjoy the most are ones with unique problems, whether that’s an API for a video game or a microcontroller for medical equipment.
When I’m not writing software for work, I’m writing for the open source community. I owe a lot of my success to the FOSS community so I try to give back in any way I can. When I’m not writing code I’m traveling with my wife and hanging out with my cat!
