If you’re wondering what that critter is, prominently featured on our website, I’ll try to illuminate. Coretechs has been proudly located in Maryland ever since its inception nearly forty years ago. The flag of Maryland goes back a little bit further to 1904 when it was officially adopted by the Maryland General Assembly. If you go way back to the 1200’s (and probably much, much earlier) you see early historical references to the Maryland Blue Crab! if you live in Maryland you can’t avoid crabs and why would you. They’re delicious! And if you’re going to be eating crabs make sure you have plenty of Old Bay on hand for cooking and serving!

We think Maryland is a great state to live in and a great place to run a business. We get four beautiful seasons but never too much of a good thing. It gets a little cold and snowy in winter but blizzards are rare. It gets hot in the summer but we almost never get a hurricane or tornado. We’ve had some tiny earthquakes maybe twice in the last forty years but nothing substantial. The people are kind and generous and easy to get along with and our proximity to Washington DC is a major attraction for other businesses.
